K-5 Mixed Grade Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Split Grade Teacher to lead a combined K-3 classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching multiple elementary subjects and a passion for differentiated, student-centered instruction. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a strong ability to build relationships with students across a range of ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) for students in grades K-3

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of a multi-age classroom

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment

• Integrate arts and VAPA into the curriculum where possible

• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student growth

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)

• Valid teaching credential (preferred)

• Experience teaching multiple elementary grade levels and subjects

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Armenian language proficiency (preferred, not required)

• Background or interest in arts or VAPA (preferred)

•Must pass livescan
