Production Supervisor

Night Shift- 7pm-7am- 2-2-3 schedule

Summary of Responsibilities: 

The requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: oversee production of quality goods and give direction necessary to maintain standard cycles, safety and quality control. Work closely with shift process techs and production coordinators, supervise and train production staff.

Essential Functions:

· Must be able to walk for 40% of a shift.

· Must be able to occasionally sit and or stand, with or without an additional weight load.

· Must be able to visually inspect production pieces for quality defects.

· Must be able to use keyboard.

· Must be able to wear proper protective equipment.

· Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.

· Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.

· Must have an intimate knowledge of all duties of the Production Coordinator, Floor Person  and Inspector/Packer job descriptions.

It is expected that company policies and procedures will always be followed. The Production Manager, or designee, will be the first point of contact if any questions or issues arise.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in the use of ERP, IQMS, MRP and MS Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.           
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Thorough understanding or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
• Strong leadership skills with ability build teams and to prioritize and delegate when appropriate.
• Prior experience leading continuous improvement activities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

•  Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
