We are looking for a Dental Lab Ceramist with extensive bench experience to handle high-quality restorative cases. The ideal candidate has a strong background in porcelain application, metal work, and a comprehensive understanding of dental morphology.
Responsibilities
- Porcelain Layering: Apply multi-layered porcelain to achieve appropriate shade, translucency, and texture.
- Complex Case Design: Design and plan multi-unit and full-arch cases, ensuring proper function and fit.
- Wax-ups: Create diagnostic wax-ups to assist in treatment planning and clinical outcomes.
- Metal & Substructures: Finish metal frameworks, apply opaques, and design substructures for PFM restorations.
- Materials: Work proficiently with Zirconia, E.max, and porcelain-fused-to-metal systems.
- Shade Management: Utilize staining and glazing techniques to match requested shades accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a dental ceramist working with porcelain, metal, and performing complex case design.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in porcelain-to-metal and all-ceramic restorations.
- Functional Knowledge: Practical understanding of occlusion and dental anatomy.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to produce work with precise marginal integrity and anatomy.
- Communication: Ability to follow detailed doctor prescriptions and communicate technical needs clearly.
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, or bend for an extended period of time. Must be able to lift at least 15lbs.
