As a Shipping Handler, you will work as part of a team to help manage the days shipment to customers! Our products are small and need great detail to attention to continue our standard of products. Shipment Handler may be designated to other departments during the morning to help in services, returning to shipping area in the afternoon to begin daily packaging process. There is no prior experience necessary! We will provide full training with great opportunities for advancement!
Duties:
- Sorting and locating case's pans.
- Being a gopher for departments to take physical pans to the next department in production.
- Review outgoing case schedules to maintain productive operations and bringing attention of damages to products to the Front Desk Manager.
- Dropping off the day's shipment at UPS shipping center (30 minutes away).
- Must have reliable car. (Will be compensated for use.)
- Steam cleaning products.
- Organizing packaging material inventory for easy retrieval as new cases come in.
- Keep track of shipping supplies and request when items are needed.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
- Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic and professionalism at all times.
- Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the shipping area with the rest of the team.
- Represent the company and department in a positive and supportive manner at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Higher
- 1 or more years’ experience in Dental field (preferred)
Skills/Requirements:
- Comfortable with computers for UPS shipping portal.
- Ability to go up and down stairs throughout the day.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Able to learn / understand dental anatomy and terminology.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Ability to lift at least 20lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
