Summary
The E-Coat Maintenance Tech is responsible for keeping the e-coat system running efficiently by monitoring and resolving common system shutdown faults and resolving other system problems. The role includes light duty preventive maintenance responsibilities, which include greasing equipment bearings, belt inspection and/or replacement, shut off valve replacement, and calibration of metering equipment. Other responsibilities include material handling 55-gallon drums of chemical using drum handling equipment, monitoring wastewater operation, and draining and cleaning tanks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve system faults and make repairs as needed
- Light duty preventive maintenance responsibilities
- General equipment inspection and preventative maintenance
- Replace filters
- Calibrate meters and probes
- Drain and fill processing tanks
- Monitor waste-water discharge
- Move incoming drums and totes of chemicals to the designated storage areas
- Keep the system clean and organized
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read equipment repair manuals and other work instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn
- On-site training will be provided
- Work Hours/Status:
- The 1st shift includes Monday - Thursday 5am – 3pm. Friday overtime as needed.
- The 2nd shift includes Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of $3.00/hr. Friday overtime as needed.
- The weekend shift includes Friday – Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr.
- Physical Requirements statement(s): must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, work at heights up to 15 feet from the ground, ability to work in areas considered confined spaces while wearing safety equipment.
