Job Overview
CremAree Goat Dairy is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic individual to represent our growing farmstead goat dairy at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, values local food, and is comfortable working independently.
As a Farmers Market Sales Associate, you will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and selling our artisan goat cheese on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Schedule
Friday Market Hours: 6:00am - 12:00pm
Saturday Market Hours: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Sunday Market Hours: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Additional, there will be paid time before and after market hours for product pickup at the farm, transportation, setup, breakdowns and product returns to the farm.
Approximately 20 hours per week
Duties
- Pick up weekly product and supplies form the farm (Thursday evening or Friday morning).
- Transport products and market equipment to and from the market.
- Setup and breakdown market displays
- Engage customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Process sales via our Point-of-Sale system and maintain a cash drawer.
- Maintain attractive, clean and well-stocked displays throughout the market day.
- Return unsold inventory and equipment to the farm following the weekend market.
Qulifications
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have a valid drivers licences with reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
