Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS system to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and serving stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
- Support kitchen by running orders and dishwashing, as needed
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus
- Familiarity with POS system technology is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving protocols preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced café environment

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
