Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunication systems
- Perform work with fiber optics and cabling tasks including Cat5, Cat6, and low-voltage wiring to support network infrastructure.
- Conduct network installation and configuration using schematics, Ethernet connections, and computer networking principles.
- Maintain CCTV systems, including camera setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure security coverage.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install and repair telecommunication hardware in data centers or field locations.
- Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately install or troubleshoot equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during site visits and resolving technical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar telecommunications with a strong background in network installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, CCTV systems, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and telecommunication equipment
- Knowledge of electrical principles related to low-voltage wiring
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair in data centers or enterprise environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
