Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Stair and Railing Installer Helper to join our construction team. Prior construction site experience and familiarity with hand and power tools are preferred but not required. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of staircases, railings, and related components according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Support the team with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
- Help with the handling and transportation of materials and equipment around the job site.
- Assist with demolition, removal of old structures, or debris cleanup as required.
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, or fabricators during installation processes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or construction drawings is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks on-site.
