Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian, based in Cleveland, TN. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals including performing routine exams, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatment, conducting surgeries, keeping thorough records, and contributing to the positive culture we've established. The role also includes educating pet owners about preventive care and collaborating with veterinary staff to deliver outstanding care and service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions in animals, including the ability to prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
- Experience performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, as well as emergency care when needed.
- Strong communication and client education skills to explain diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care to pet owners effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff to provide high-quality care.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent and a valid veterinary license for the state of Tennessee.
- Experience or interest in specific areas such as dentistry, orthopedics, or exotic animal care is a plus.
