Job Summary
Center for TMJ & Sleep Solutions NW and Creekside Sleep Medicine are seeking a knowledgeable and patient-focused DME Technician to join our in-office sleep medicine team. This role is crucial in ensuring patients are well-equipped for success with their CPAP therapy through education, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
This position will support all three locations (Bellevue, Federal Way and SIlverdale) and work under the direction of the DME Supervisor. The DME Technician will also be responsible for managing and coordinating the autoship program for patient supplies.

Duties
- Guide patients through CPAP setup, mask fitting, and education during in-office appointments to ensure a seamless experience
- Provide hands-on instruction on device operation, maintenance, and cleaning
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and verify device performance prior to patient use
- Monitor and review CPAP compliance data and conduct outreach to patients who are non-compliant
- Communicate with sleep medicine providers regarding therapy progress and patient challenges
- Conduct follow-up visits to assess adherence and effectiveness of therapy
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record system
- Track inventory and coordinate equipment distribution and replacement across all locations
- Manage and support the autoship program for CPAP supplies, including inventory, patient communication and order coordination
- Support other team members as needed
Experience
- RPSGT certification preferred, or background as a Respiratory Therapist or Medical Assistant with CPAP experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sleep medicine, DME, or respiratory therapy
- Strong understanding of CPAP/BiPAP devices, masks, and compliance software
- Skilled in patient education and communication
- Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
