Befur & After Pet Grooming (www.befurandaftergrooming.com), owned by Creekside Pet Hotel, is seeking an experienced, reliable Seasonal Dog Groomer for our Marietta location.

This position runs from November 2026 through January 2, 2027, with strong potential to transition into a permanent, year-round role for top performers.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Part-time (2–3 days per week as needed).
• Key Availability Requirements: Weekend availability (especially Saturdays) and availability around key holiday dates (Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve) are essential.
• Compensation: 50% commission tips (Hourly base rate of $16.00 – $20.00/hr equivalent, plus tips).

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven, professional dog grooming experience Must demonstrate haircutting ability on demo dog for groom manager. (Required).
• Animal Behavior: Sound understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques with a compassionate, gentle approach.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift heavy pets (min 50 lbs.) and equipment
• Client & Tech Skills: Excellent customer service, clear communication skills, and basic computer skills for managing appointment software.
• Work Ethic: Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
