What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meta Ads Manager position at Creekside Marketing?
he Role
This is not a behind-the-scenes position.
You will own a portfolio of client accounts from start to finish: strategy, execution, optimization, reporting, and client communication. Sales and onboarding are handled by us. You are stepping into accounts that are already live and running, not building from zero.
You will start with 10 active accounts across a mix of industries. Numbers are manageable, but complexity varies more than headcount does. Some clients take a few hours a week. Others need more. Plan for roughly 35 active hours a week with a 5 to 10 hour buffer. You will not be stretched thin. We watch workload and adjust with intention.
A few things that make this role different:
- The VA team tracks your deadlines, handles scheduling, manages invoicing, and keeps your tasks organized
- Creative is handled by someone else
- You are doing one job, not five
On reporting: We write real reports. Every one is custom, built using AI as a foundation and refined by you before it goes to the client. It should read like it came from someone who actually knows the account, because it did. Automated outputs with a logo slapped on are not a deliverable here. Clients pay for expertise and that is what they get.
You will also have access to AI tools connected directly to Meta that flag performance issues and surface anomalies before they become client conversations. It supports your judgment. It does not replace it.
The right person reads data and talks to clients with equal comfort. You do not wait to be told when something looks off. You catch it, bring a plan, and move. Client messages during business hours get a response within three hours.
Off-hours situations do come up, realistically once or twice a month, usually about an hour on a Saturday or a weekday evening. It is not a recurring commitment. When it happens, you are compensated at $100 an hour. If that ever changes, we will talk about it directly.

Reporting
- Deliver bi-weekly reports that tell a real story: what worked, what did not, and what is next
