About Us

Creekside Kids is a nurturing early childhood education program dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where young children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our team.

Position Summary

The Teacher's Aide supports the teachers in providing a positive and enriching classroom experience for young children. Ideally the aid will engage students in Spanish.  This role includes assisting with daily classroom activities, supervising students, helping maintain a clean and organized classroom and work environment, and building positive relationships with children, families, and staff.  Strong communication skills required. 


Responsibilities

  • Assist all Teachers with daily classroom activities and lessons.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
  • Help prepare and organize classroom materials, meals, and learning centers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment.
  • Assist with snack, lunch, and restroom routines as needed.
  • Foster positive interactions and model respectful behavior.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administrators.
  • Follow all school policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
  • Support special events, field trips, and school activities as needed.
  • Lead Spanish activities and engagement in all classrooms.
  • Cover teacher breaks and mealtimes.
  • Complete safety checks and monitor supplies.
  • Assist throughout the school as needed.  


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with young children preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, patient, and nurturing demeanor.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
