Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Farm Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of custom harvesting equipment, including primarily John Deere forage harvesters, tractors, trucks, trailers, and semi-trucks. This position involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues, and performing timely repairs to keep equipment operating during demanding harvest seasons. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working
independently in both shop and field environments.
Prior experience with agricultural equipment, heavy trucks, and John Deere machinery is required. This also includes operating newer equipment. CDL is a plus but not required. Competitive Pay based on experience. Retirement benefits included.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
