Job Title: Regional OTR CDL Driver
Location: Williston ND
Remote Status: Onsite. Must live locally after hired. No rotational schedules, company-paid housing, or relocation assistance available.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. Home Every Night. Overtime is available and expected.

Job Summary Hauling oil field chemicals between company locations. Will cross state lines and require overnight stays during the workweek. Follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Expectations Expected to follow established procedures and comply with safety regulations. Work under general supervision. FMCSA regulations and safety are top priority. Proper use of company-issued safety equipment and PPE. Must possess and maintain a smartphone and data service sufficient to access required business applications, communications, and work-related systems.
Essential Duties – other duties as assigned
- Maintain driver logs, according to DOT regulations
- Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
- Follow all FMCSA regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
- Properly load, secure, and unload trucks (tanker and flatbed)
- Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
- Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
- Timely completion of reports and documentation
- Work well independently and as a team
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years in oil and gas industry preferred.
Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrakes required.
Driving Requirements: Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Safe operation of forklifts.
Physical Requirements – Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, twisting, throwing overhead, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.
Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment – Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Will be subject to road conditions found throughout the basins. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.

Communication Skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service.
Cognitive Skills – Ability to maintain focus and situational awareness while safely operating a commercial vehicle in varying road, traffic, and weather conditions. Ability to make sound decisions, solve problems independently, and effectively manage time, routes, and delivery schedules. Ability to understand and follow DOT regulations, safety procedures, and electronic documentation requirements.
Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending. Bilingual beneficial.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, electronic logs, and software/apps used for recording daily deliveries.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using weight and volume measurements.
Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
