Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Swiss Lathe Programmer to assist in the layout and programming of approx. 14 Swiss-style machines and multi-axis CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Swiss and CNC lathe operations and be capable of setting up machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications and have strong interpersonal skills for supervising others.
Responsibilities
- Lay out jobs for approx. 14 Swiss and CNC lathes to produce precision metal components.
- Program machines according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Select the appropriate tools and fixtures for each job.
- Perform test runs to verify the accuracy of machine setups.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and make adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in Swiss and CNC lathe setup and operation, specifically Tsugami machines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to set up and program Swiss and CNC lathe machines independently.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM (First/Day shift)
- Occasional Saturdays available (optional)
- Shift times may vary depending on workload
