What are the responsibilities and job description for the SDET and QA mobile application EXP w2 position at Creed Infotech?
Seeking an experienced, self-motivated QA/Automation Engineer. Your focus will be creating and executing both manual and automated tests, functionality and maintaining an existing python-based automation framework that supports multiple projects. You will be working closely with engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that product quality and user experience are consistent with other products.
The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build automated tests and/or infrastructure for complex projects.
Strong collaboration with engineering teams and an ability to thrive under pressure are essential. You will:
Document test plans/test cases and other testing procedures
Execute test cases, document product defects, and report testing results
Create and maintain automated tests based on established test plans and as-needed for new features and defect investigations
Participate in cross-functional email and group project discussions
Required experience:
5 years experience testing mobile application software (iOS preferred and android systems)
2-3 years experience automating iOS software (Python, XCUI Test and Swift experience)
music streaming highly preferred
Proactive - requires limited direction
Ability to define, execute and automate comprehensive test suites in the absence of detailed specs/documentation
Experience working directly with Software Engineering, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and report quality metrics
Experience working both independently and within a team on multiple, simultaneous product/feature releases
Experience with UNIX/Linux based systems for debugging and analysis
Creative thinker and passionate about quality
Nice to have: interest/background is a plus
Previous experience testing iOS/macOS software and devices

Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
