Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with semi trucks and trailers.
- Repair and service semi-trucks and trailers.
- Complete DOT Inspections Safety Inspections.
- Fill out repair orders or invoices, correspond with customers regarding repairs, correspond with suppliers to order needed parts, and take customer payments, as necessary
- Repair engine, brake, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
- Identify equipment issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience as a Medium & Heavy Duty diesel truck mechanic is preferred
- Attention to detail and a sense of pride and quality of work
- Candidate must be self-motivated
- Must be dependable and have a good work ethic
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
