Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and/or industrial projects, including power distribution and lighting layouts. Day-to-day tasks include preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications; coordinating with architects, other engineering disciplines, and local building authorities; and assisting with code analysis and compliance. The role involves participating in client meetings, responding to RFIs, providing technical support during construction, and reviewing submittals and shop drawings. The Electrical Engineer will also help improve internal standards, contribute to design quality and efficiency, and support multiple projects simultaneously under the guidance of senior team members as needed.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles, with the ability to apply theory to practical building systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for commercial, residential, and/or industrial applications.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, including load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and coordination with utility services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; EIT or PE license in Florida (or eligibility) preferred.
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, local building codes).
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools (such as AutoCAD or Revit) and common engineering software for calculations and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team and interact professionally with clients and authorities.
- Ability to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
