We are currently looking for a Collection Specialist for our fast-paced Collection Department.
Duties will include:
· Accurately prepare and fund consumer loans (personal, auto, credit cards and home equity loans) while ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
· Responsible for processing title work on vehicle loans.
· Communicate with members to schedule, coordinate, and prepare loan closings.
· Communicate with members, branch staff, lending staff, car dealerships and finance companies to finalize loans and process payoffs.
· Responsible for loan maintenance on existing loans.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
This position requires a great deal of organization, accuracy, and the ability to handle high work volume efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed in order to professionally and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. Experience in a consumer lending environment of a financial institution required.
