Salary: $4,000-$4,500 per month, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity possible

Credit Collections Bureau (CCB) is seeking a motivated attorney to join our in-house legal team part-time. This is an excellent opportunity for a retired attorney looking for part-time work without being responsible for running their own office, an attorney in the early years of practice who wants to gain substantial hands-on legal experience while having the possibility of building a long-term career.

GET REAL LEGAL EXPERIENCE - EARLY

At CCB, you won't spend your first several years waiting for meaningful assignments. Our attorneys have the opportunity to manage their own caseloads and gain practical experience in areas including:

· Civil litigation

· Court appearances

· Creditor-rights litigation

· Judgments and post-judgment remedies

· Garnishments and executions

· Negotiations and settlements

· Legal research and drafting

· Regulatory and compliance matters

You'll work alongside experienced attorneys and staff while developing the skills necessary to independently manage cases from beginning to end.

COMPENSATION

Starting base salary is expected to be $4,000-4,500/ per month, depending upon qualifications and experience, with additional performance-based bonus opportunity.

Prior collection-law experience is not required. We are more interested in finding an attorney with strong judgment, a willingness to learn, a solid work ethic, and the desire to take responsibility for their cases.

Applicants should be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in South Dakota and/or North Dakota.
