JOB SUMMARY


The core duties of the District Supervisor encompass overseeing multiple branch locations, managing external marketing efforts, handling credit and collections, ensuring high levels of customer service, overseeing finance operations, executing management functions, driving business development initiatives, and conducting comprehensive employee training programs.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES


  • Lead the recruitment and selection process to hire qualified branch personnel
  • Train and guide Branch Managers to achieve standard performance targets across all operational aspects
  • Uphold monthly and annual performance standards
  • Conduct quarterly branch visits and organize training meetings as directed or necessary
  • Monitor employee productivity, offering constructive feedback and coaching as needed
  • Oversee internal asset audits and ensure follow-up actions are taken
  • Timely completion of reports and employee performance evaluations
  • Supervise, mentor, and support employee growth and professional development
  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring employee compliance
  • Identify potential opportunities for acquiring new loan offices
  • Provide assistance to the Vice President of Operations as required or assigned
  • Embrace change with a positive mindset
  • Ensure all branch staff participate in and complete mandatory company training


REQUIREMENTS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Proven experience managing multiple consumer finance branches
  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in hiring, training and developing Branch Managers
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and workload effectively
  • Thorough understanding of state and federal credit lending regulations
  • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to interact effectively with others
  • Consistent attendance and strong work ethic, punctual and reliable on all scheduled workdays
  • Ability to inspire and lead personnel while maintaining composure and patience in challenging situations
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding employment credit and background checks
  • Ability to meet licensing requirements from various states based on a criminal background check


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


This job operates in multiple office environments in the Houston/El Paso area with some exposure to outside environment. This position requires frequent travel as well as sitting, standing, walking, and use of a keyboard. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 5 pounds unassisted.


EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK


This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as performance goals demand.
