Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Army Systems Coordinator (DASC) to support the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program.
The Sr DASC required to work in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)) for the Army Acquisition Executive (AAE). They are the liaison among the (ASA(ALT)) staff, supporting PM PNT.
This position is hybrid 2-3 days a week out of Pentagon, Washington, DC.
The PM PNT program provides administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army director PNT systems.
The SETA services provided to PM PNT shall support the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army’s PNT portfolio. PM PNT provides coordinated PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army’s mounted and dismounted platforms. PM PNT is the Army’s lifecycle manager for the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS), Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS), Assured Protection and Alt Nav Technology Development; and the Resiliency and Software Assurance Measures (RSAM)., as well as any future PNT efforts in both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Maintain the Army’s position for PM PNT and work all related aspects of cost, schedule and performance between PM PNT and Army staff offices that support plans, programs and resources at the Army headquarters level.
- Support or represent PM PNT while working for ASA(ALT) representing the intentions of the headquarters.
- Build relationships with PM PNT and helps them resolve complex problems with their programs by navigating assistance from Army senior leaders and staff functional offices.
- Prepare key briefings and engagements such as Army program budget briefs which are presentations to Senate and House appropriations committees to outline the Army’s position regarding the upcoming fiscal year requirements.
- Defend and justify what PM PNT can and cannot do with the funding originally planned for in the program objective memorandum, based on potential increases or decreases to the overall defense budget.
- Play an integral part in PM PNT milestone decision reviews, by assisting the program office with coordinating meetings with key players and decision-makers.
- Host the milestone decision review meeting, take notes and respond to any after-action reports or follow-up questions.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- An active DoD TS/ SCI security clearance is required for consideration.
A bachelor's degree in the specialized field with 10 years experience or a master's degree in the specialized field with 8 year experience DoD systems acquisition, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Highly experienced maintaining all related aspects of cost, schedule and performance between program and Military/ Government staff offices that support plans, programs and resources at the headquarters level or similar.
- Experienced preparing key military briefings and engagements.
- Experienced defending and justifying what military/ government programs can and cannot do with the funding planned for in the program objectives.
- Program Management experience preferred.
- This position may require up to 25% travel in and out of the contiguous US.
