Description: As a Pet Care Specialist your duties will include but are not limited to; walking dogs outside in hot/cold/rainy conditions, cleaning and sanitizing (kennels, walls, floors, feeding equipment), feeding dogs/cats, administering medications, scooping feces, maintaining the cleanliness of play yards and washing laundry.
Job Requirements:
Walking and playing with dogs inside and outside in hot/cold/rainy conditions
Cleaning and sanitizing (kennels, walls, floors, feeding equipment, etc.)
Bathing, rinsing and drying dogs
Communicating appropriately with team members and customers
Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications and Attitudes:
Must be 18 To Apply
Love, patience and compassion for animals
Ability to maintain alertness to human and animal safety
Strong work ethic, team player, positive attitude, and timeliness
Ability to restrain large dogs up to 100lbs . , lifting animals up to 50lbs., and lifting animals over 50 lbs. with help
Comfortable with dogs of ALL sizes
Reliable and flexible to resort schedule needs, including weekends and holidays as these are our busiest times
Reliable transportation
Noise exposure from barking dogs, dryers and machinery
Standing/walking on hard floors for up to 8 hours per day
Danger of being jumped on, scratched or bitten
Indoors and outdoors to include rain, snow and summer heat
Bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, squatting and twisting throughout the day
Hours: Full-time, Part-time
M-F: 6:00am - 6:00pm ( 4-8hr shifts)
Saturdays: 7:00am - 1:00pm (6-8hr shifts) …. Evening 5:00-7:00
Sundays: 7:00am - 11:am/3:00pm - 7:30pm(split shift)

Starting Pay: Starts at $12.00 per/hr) Raise based on performance evaluation and team effort.
