What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher position at Creativities Studio?
We are currently seeking art teachers to teach art classes for the Winter 2026 semester (January - June) at a local private school in Worcester, MA.
Must be available Thursdays 3:45 - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Instruct art classes for children ages 4-10 in private schools in Worcester, MA.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for a 6 month period
- Must be comfortable instructing 8-10 children and completing one art project per class
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation
- Potential to earn four yearly bonuses
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
