What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher position at Creativities Studio?
We are currently seeking an art teacher to teach in White Plains, NY & Tarrytown, NY on weekday afternoons starting 12/1. We are specifically seeking someone who has worked with clay and also digital art.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct art classes for children ages 4-10 in private schools in Tarrytown, NY.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for a 3 month period
- Must be comfortable instructing 5-10 children and completing one art project per class
- For digital art class - experience with Canva and Adobe Illustrator
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
