What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher position at Creativities Studio?
We are currently seeking art teachers to teach art classes for the winter 2025/2026 semester (December - June) at local private schools.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct art classes for children ages 3-10 in private schools in Greenwich, CT and Westchester, NY
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for a 6 month period
- Must be comfortable instructing 5-10 children and completing one art project per class
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
