This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the commercial real estate industry, including redesigning lobbies, designing amenity spaces, selecting new finishes for spec suites, conceptual mural designs, and designing office spaces while collaborating with clients and contractors to bring innovative visions to life.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive interior design concepts tailored to client needs and preferencesCreate detailed floor plans and 3D renderings using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Adobe Creative SuitePrepare design proposals, mood boards, and material selectionsManage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure timely delivery of projectsCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the time of the projectConduct site visits for measurements, documentation of existing furniture, deliveries, and installationsApply knowledge of color theory and interior styling to create cohesive environmentsAbility to problem solve and create quick solutions that meet the client's needs and budgetRequirementsProven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projectsProficiency in either SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), or other relative software to create floor plans to scaleExperience managing multiple projects from conception through completion with effective project management skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsInterpret client needs into functional design solutions while adhering to budget constraintsAbility to lift 50 poundsFlexibility to be at project locations, within the San Francisco Bay Area, to accept white glove deliveries, packages, and check in with contractors to make sure projects are running smoothly and on time
