Responsibilities
The Role: Tutor / Learning Coach
We are seeking full-time and part-time tutors to join our growing team of passionate educators and artists who are leading a revolution in education.
As a CUE tutor, you will:
- Support students academically while honoring their unique learning styles
- Integrate core curriculum with artistic expression and project-based learning
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
- Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and engagement
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support ongoing development
- Promote a love of learning by creating an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to excel
- Help students understand how to turn their creative gifts into real-world skills, entrepreneurship, and career pathways
This is not a traditional classroom role. It is mentorship, coaching, and inspired teaching.
- Foster confidence, independence, collaboration, and self-advocacy
Requirements
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and digital educational resources
- Prior classroom experience working with children or adult learners in educational settings
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and special education accommodations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills to track student progress and manage multiple sessions efficiently
