We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Director to join our educational leadership team. Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing innovative curriculum strategies aligned with educational standards and student needs
- Lead faculty evaluation processes, providing constructive feedback to promote instructional excellence
- Support strategic planning efforts to achieve school goals and improve overall performance
- Manage school budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support educational programs
- Oversee personnel management tasks, including hiring, supervision, professional development, and personnel evaluations
- Ensure compliance with Department of Early Education and Care regulations, and mandated teacher/child ratios
- Supervise day-to-day school operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment conducive to learning and growth
Requirements
- Must be EEC Director Certified (Director II certified preferred)
- Background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and education administration
- Must demonstrate positive leadership skills, strong communications skills (both verbal and written) and a strong desire to be a vital part of a Team
- The ability to motivate staff and a provide necessary technical assistance in a kind yet constructive manner.
- Classroom teaching experience coupled with working directly with students is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster innovation, and promote continuous improvement
- Support administrative duties such as maintaining and updating children and staff files, Medication and allergy documentation, health and safety compliance, Incident/Accident reporting, assist in enrollment and hiring processes, etc.
- Willingness to support daily operation of the center by covering breaks or filling in classrooms if needed
