What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Field Team Lead position at Creative Tech?
As an IT Field Team Lead, you will be leading small teams of field technicians and coordinating the team's efforts on client onboardings all across USA. In addition to this, you will be tackling complex technical challenges such as network migrations and configurations. Please note this is travel oriented role, with consistent multi-day trips.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a results-driven team to ensure daily success and client satisfaction
- Handle, install, and maintain the diverse range of equipment we provide to clients: computers, laptops, kiosks, thin clients, and chrome devices
- Mentor and coach junior technicians and contribute to their skill development
- Lead and manage a team of field technicians through delegation and team coordination
- Effectively identify and set work priorities adapting to the project needs
- Be able to travel overnight and out-of-state for multiple days at a time, 1-4 times a month
- Collaborate with in-house team members to resolve issues and deliver optimal solutions
- Create documentation after completed onboardings
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a passion for IT and takes pride in consistently delivering results
- Has excellent time-management and strong organizational skills
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring positive interactions within the team and with clients
- Is experienced and comfortable in leading teams (ideally in an IT environment)
- Has advanced computer hardware and software troubleshooting knowledge
- Has a solid understanding of networking and network topography
- Has intermediate experience with configuration of switches, routers, and IP protocols
- Has intermediate experience with data cabling, such as fiber wiring and cat5/cat6 termination
- Has pronounced attention to detail and good documentation skills
- Approaches work with a proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused mindset
- Owns a car with a valid driver’s license
- Is able to travel overnight and out-of-state for multiple days at a time, 1-4 times a month
- Is capable of lifting 30lbs and climbing a ladder when necessary

Compensation: $49,000-$56,000 annually
