Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and education, with a focus on providing quality learning experiences for young students.
Responsibilities:
-Reports to Center Director, Assistant Director, Lead and Assistant teachers
-Works collaboratively with either Lead or Assistant teachers in fulfilling necessary classroom duties
-Controls behaviors and reports necessary incidents to Lead or Assistant teacher
-Participates in on-going training and staff meetings
-When necessary, helps Lead and/or Assistant teachers with daily classroom cleaning tasks
-Maintains an appropriate level of professionalism with both parents and other staff members
-Upholds the standards of the ethical and professional duties as outlined in the employee handbooks
-Participates and engages with children in the classroom
-Communicates with Lead and Assistant teachers daily to establish positive and professional working relationships
Experience
Required Skills:
- Strong background in early childhood education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings
- Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management
