We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Automation Technician to join our team. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining residential technology systems in luxury homes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service while working with cutting-edge smart home technologies.
- Install and service home automation, audio/video, networking, surveillance, access control, motorized shade, and lighting control systems.
- Clean cable management
- Configure and troubleshoot automation platforms, network equipment, audio/video systems, and control devices.
- Install televisions, speakers, projectors, equipment racks, cameras, keypads, touch panels, and related technology.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and quality assurance checks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation and service visits.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, builders, and other trades to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and service records.
- Provide client training and support on completed systems.
- Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Crestron and/or Control4 systems.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting residential automation, audio/video, networking, and low-voltage systems.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems, and connected devices.
- Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Control4
- Savant
- Lutron
- Ubiquiti
- 2N Access control and surveillance systems (ICRealtime)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and active construction sites.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and use tools for extended periods.
