FLSA: Exempt, Salary
Shift & Hours: M-F, 8-hour day with hours assigned by Sales Manager
Location: Remote in Assigned Territory – minimum 50% travel
Pay Rate: $97,000 Base salary DOE commissions (uncapped) with the opportunity for performance-based bonuses

What You’ll Do
- Own and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identify and pursue new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
- Meet with customers on-site to assess needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and provide tailored solutions
- Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and key accounts
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes
- Track activity and opportunities in the CRM to maintain clean, actionable data
- Stay informed on market & industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Represent Creative Safety Supply at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Collaborate cross-functionally across departments such as, but not limited to, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Supply Chain
- Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction, provide additional information on company offerings, and uncover repeat and expansion opportunities
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and territory updates
- Engage in ongoing learning and development, including travel to Company HQs for product or process specific training
- Willingness to travel regularly within your territory, including occasional overnight trips
- Other duties as assigned
- You consistently build strong, trust-based relationships with customers and clients
- Your territory shows measurable growth and new business development
- You balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in the field
- Your data and pipeline management are organized, accurate, and actionable
- You proactively identify opportunities and take initiatives to pursue them
- 3 – 5 years of outside sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, safety, or similar industries
- Proven ability to build relationships through in-person engagement
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on growth
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Experience managing large product offerings
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Familiarity with ERM and CRM systems; NetSuite and HubSpot experience highly preferred
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Trade show or Company event representation experience
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbally in English; Spanish or French a plus

- Ability to stand, walk, and move around customer sites during in-person meetings and facility visits
- Ability to lift and carry materials, product samples, or equipment up to 25 pounds
- Significant time spent working from a vehicle while traveling between customer locations within the assigned territory
- Regular visits to customer sites, which may include industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse settings with varying noise levels, temperatures, and walking surfaces
- Approximately 50% of time spent working remotely from a home office, using standard office equipment and technology
- Occasional overnight travel for Tradeshows or training/meetings
