- Perform routine cleaning of hallways, laundry rooms, stairwells, and entryways.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to ensure a spotless appearance and safe walking surfaces.
- Conduct sanitation of high-touch surfaces including handrails, door handles, light switches, and other fixtures.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture or cleaning equipment.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols during custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with chemical agents used in cleaning and sanitation processes with an emphasis on chemical handling safety procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.
