Job Summary
Join our vibrant café team where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming environment for guests of all ages! As a key player in our lively café, you will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare delicious beverages and snacks, and ensure the space remains clean, safe, and inviting. every day! The position will afford the right person the opportunity to move up to a managment position over time.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare lunches and snacks
- Operate POS system to check guests in, and process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change,
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, beverage stations, tables, and seating areas as well as the play area so our guests always feel welcome
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Decorate and help carry out awesome BIRTHDAY PARTIES!
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures to uphold health standards in food handling areas
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
