What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust & Estates Paralegal position at Creative Planning?
The Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal’s primary responsibility is to take on as much work from the attorney as possible, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
The Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal provides administrative and substantive legal support to the attorneys of Creative Planning’s legal department.

JOB DUTIES
- Prepares and records deeds and other asset transfer documents
- Prepares trust administration and trust settlement documents, including trust accountings, and coordinates distribution to relevant parties
- Prepares court documents for decedent’s estate and adult guardianships and conservatorships
- Prepares attorney and transmittal correspondence
- Coordinates with clients and asset custodians to obtain and organize asset and debt information for decedents or wards/conservatees
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Efficient, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Proficient in MS Office
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of probate and trust settlement experience
