What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Tube, Duct and Sheet Metal Fitter position at Creative Pathways Inc.?
We are seeking an Aerospace Tube,Duct,Sheet Metal Fitter to become an integral part of our team! The Fitter will use hand tools and components to fit and assemble new metal Tubing,Ducts and Sheet Metal in preparation for welding.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate aluminum and stainless steel Tube and Duct products
- Install and ensure accurate fit of components (Metal Tube, Duct,ferrules,flanges, bosses,etc.)
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Use of calibrated measuring tools
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications, use of fixtures
- Conduct tests to evaluate fit quality and tolerance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Aerospace Tube,Duct , manufacturing, or other related fields
- Knowledge of shear , trimming tools and procedures
- able to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Familiarity with aluminum and stainless steel alloys
