Are you experienced in construction trades and ready to be part of a growing company with a great culture? CMC is seeking dedicated Assembly Technician Specialists for our 2nd shift team. In this role, you’ll help build high-quality modular units in a clean, structured environment that values teamwork, skill development, and safety. This is a fast-paced environment, and schedules must be flexible to meet production demands, including the possibility of being asked to switch shifts later.
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble modular buildings with tasks in framing, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and finishing
- Read blueprints and follow build specifications accurately
- Perform interior and exterior construction tasks such as drywall, flooring, siding, insulation, and windows/doors
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the assembly process
- Maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and troubleshoot construction issues as needed
- Construction experience (modular or traditional)
- Skills in at least one of the following: framing, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and follow build plans
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and handle materials in a shop environment
- $18.00/hour $1.00/hour shift differential
- Monday–Friday schedule, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
