Job Summary

Duties
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to contribute to the school community.
- Provide support for students with diverse needs, including those requiring additional assistance in areas such as childcare or early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Experience working on childcare.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus.
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom organization are essential.
- Previous experience in daycare or babysitting roles can be advantageous for understanding child development stages.
- A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential is essential.
- Must have EDU 119 or equivalent or the ability to obtain it.
- Able to pass a NC background check upon hire.
Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
