As a Shop Floor Assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components for HVAC production.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Operate machinery and tools such as shears, brakes, and roll formers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to trouble shoot / fix shop equipment.
- Team oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Must be able to handle demands of the job including standing, walking, keeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 50 lbs., repetitively.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday’s 7-11am
