SUMMARY
Responsible for creating, documenting, developing all APQP documents relating to new product launches and training the operational groups to secure a successful PPAP and launch of all new programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead all APQP functions as it relates to new programs culminating in successful launch of said programs.
- Assist in developing and training all operational groups of processes and requirements that relate to the launch of new programs.
- Understand, communicate and train all operational personnel on customer specific requirements.
- Lead / participate in corrective action audits and problem solving teams to support Continuous Improvements to meet performance criteria once a new program is launched.
- Perform Process Capabilities and measurement studies using statistical techniques as necessary to support new program launch and GDT requirements.
- Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to support quality, cost and customer expectations.
- Familiar with customer specific Quality System requirements
- Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to new program requirements.
- Assist in training of new Quality group associates as needed.
- Must be an integral part of the Program Management Launch team.
- Support IATF and ISO 14001 requirements..
- Audit vendor PPAP’s production materials.
- Read and Interpret GD & T
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
