Creative Laboratories LLC, a manufacturer of professional hair care products is hiring a Warehouse Quality Control Associate to join our warehouse team.
This role verifies the accuracy and completeness of customer orders before they ship, using QR scanning technology to confirm order contents, documentation, labeling, and truck loading. You'll also perform the full range of Warehouse Associate duties, including safe operation of electric forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail is essential — you'll be the last check before an order leaves the building.
What You'll Do
Quality Control
- Prepare and verify order documentation, packing slips, and product labeling against customer specifications prior to shipment.
- Tear down and rebuild pallets to re-verify order contents against pick tickets and packing slips, confirming correct items, quantities, and configuration.
- Inspect completed orders for accuracy and compliance with customer and company quality standards; correct or escalate discrepancies.
- Verify trucks are loaded with the correct pallets for each order prior to departure.
General Warehouse Operations
- Pick customer orders from assigned warehouse locations using QR scanning technology.
- Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Review pick tickets and packing slips to confirm items, quantities, and shipping destinations.
- Build, organize, and palletize orders to customer and company standards.
- Secure freight using pallet-wrapping equipment and hand stretch wrap.
- Load and unload trucks safely and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safety-compliant work area.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED, plus at least one year of warehouse experience.
- Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to work well on a team.
Nice to Have
- Forklift certification.
- Prior quality control or order verification experience.
- Spanish language proficiency.
Physical Requirements
This role frequently requires standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, and repetitive motion/grasping throughout a shift, with occasional climbing to reach machines or racks. Requires lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. occasionally and more than 20 lbs. frequently, plus occasional keyboarding. Exposure to typical manufacturing hazards may require respiratory protection and other PPE.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
