Interior Design Staging & Installation Technician (Part-Time)

Position Overview:
We’re hiring a part-time Design Staging & Installation Technician to assist with moving, delivering, assembling, and installing furniture, art, and décor at job sites locally and out-of-state. This is NOT an entry level position; qualified candidates must have previous experience in home services, furnishings, moving, handyman jobs, or related professions. What You'll Do:
- Receive, inspect, and organize shipments delivered to the warehouse
- Prepare items for storage, for transport, and for onsite installation
- Drive and/or ride along in box trucks to transport goods
- Load and unload trucks at project sites
- Move and assemble furniture (must be able to follow written instructions)
- Hang artwork, mirrors, and window treatments (training provided)
- Perform indoor and outdoor work in a variety of conditions
- Travel out-of-state on rare occasion (up to 3–5 consecutive days per trip)
- Ensure every project satisfies our high standards of excellence
- Represent our company with professionalism and outstanding customer service
What We’re Looking For:
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs safely and repeatedly
- Comfortability with moving large, heavy furniture such as sectional sofas, sideboards, dressers, dining tables, tv's, etc.
- Owns basic tool kit and is proficient at using hand tools for assembly and installation
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive mindset
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a creative, hands-on field
- Reliable transportation to/from work whether it is at the warehouse or at job sites within 50 miles of the warehouse
- Willing to travel for short-term out-of-state projects
- Interior design experience and a passion for beautifying spaces is a plus!
Schedule:
- Days and hours vary by project. Nights and weekends are very infrequent, but possible. Flexibility and open availability is required. Expect to be scheduled 30-40 hours per week.
- Typical shift for warehouse days Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Typical shift for installation days: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Position is not remote.
Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experience
