Description/Role

Scope of Work:

Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) of the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCP) are in need of a dedicated fulltime programmer/DBA for one full year from August 9, 2021, through August 5, 2021. The candidate will need to pass a law enforcement background check. Contract shall include stated hours to be worked. All work will be performed

onsite at Public Safety Headquarters at 100 Edison Park Dr, Gaithersburg, Maryland, unless granted written permission. Please state any restrictions or other obligations the proposed programmer may

have. This position is intended to be dedicated, any substitutions before or during the contract period will be at the sole discretion of MCP. Programmer must meet the following qualifications:

substitutions Will Not Be Accepted:

1. Experience (at least 5 years) with writing scripts, views, stored procedures for SQL Server.
2. Experience (more than 1 year) with writing scripts, views, stored procedures for Oracle Enterprise.
3. Demonstrated working experience (at least 2 years) developing .Net web apps using C#,
4. Java Script, MVC, Entity Framework, and Code First.
5. Experience (more than 1 year) creating reports with SQL Server Reporting Services.
6. Experience (2 or more years) creating reports with Power BI.
7. Experience (more than 1 year) managing user accounts and access lists for an Active Directory organizational unit.
8. Source control management with Git experience (more than 1 year).
9. Experience (5 or more years) with all SDLC phases.
