Position Summary
The MES development project will design, develop, and implement components of the Integration Hub, Enterprise Data Services, and interfaces to support the DASH initiative as well as other high priority SCDHHS initiatives. The size and scope of this project may require as many as eighteen agile teams working independently but collaboratively toward common goals over the Contract period.
Key Responsibilities
Team role is to serve as technical leader responsible for supporting development operations by creating and maintaining secure and efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Create, maintain, and manage infrastructure systems that are highly available, scalable, resilient, and secure on the AWS platform.
- Design, implement, manage, and maintain DevOps tools to automate operational processes in AWS platform.
- Mentor and coach less experienced DevOps Engineers.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 10–12 years total DevOps experience
- DevOps Engineers streamline development, deployment, and operational processes.
- They implement CI/CD pipelines, design deployment architecture, and ensure the system is reliable, scalable, and secure. They also automate data migration processes, ensuring that data is accurately transferred and validated as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- DevOps Engineers manage the deployment process, implement monitoring solutions, and oversee post-implementation maintenance.
- AWS (Glue, Lambda, ECS), MarkLogic, JavaScript, Python, CloudFormation, Jira, Confluence.
