Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care services to clients with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with industry regulations and salon policies
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Offer personalized consultations based on color theory principles to achieve desired looks and ensure client satisfaction
- Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments efficiently
- Upsell retail products like hair care, makeup, and nail products to enhance client results and increase revenue
- Mentor junior team members or apprentices when applicable, fostering a collaborative learning environment
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and hair extensions
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for booking and client management
- Strong understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and hair care techniques including straight razor shaving and hair threading
- Proven ability in retail sales, upselling strategies, and store management fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service
- Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and retail math is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude
