Responsibilities
- Build and assemble scenic pieces using various materials including wood, metal, foam, and fabric with precision and craftsmanship.
- Install scenery safely and efficiently, ensuring all components are secure and aligned.
- Perform finishing work such as trim carpentry, caulking, painting, and surface treatments to achieve the desired aesthetic.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining equipment in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with project managers, and other crew members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct repairs or modifications on existing structures as needed.
- Assist with heavy lifting, material fabrication, framing, or other specialized construction tasks as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely in fabrication environments.
- Knowledge of CNC Router fabrication processes desired.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards at all times.
