Creative Forms and Graphics is a leading printing, mailing, and marketing company. We are seeking an experienced Prepress Technician to support both offset and digital print production. This position is responsible for preparing, correcting, and optimizing customer artwork to ensure accurate color reproduction, efficient press performance, and high-quality finished products.Key ResponsibilitiesPreflight, edit, and prepare files for offset and digital pressesPerform imposition, trapping, and file normalization for press-ready outputPrepare files for plate making (CTP) Heidelberg and digital print workflowsApply color management standards, including ICC profiles and dot gain considerationsEnsure files meet PDF/X and press-specific requirementsCreate and review digital and hard proofs for accuracy and qualityCommunicate with sales, designers, and press operators to resolve artwork issuesMaintain organized job files and production documentationMeet tight deadlines in a high-volume production environmentRequired Qualifications4 years of experience in prepress for offset and/or digital printingProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)Strong understanding of CMYK color theory, trapping, bleeds, and impositionExperience with RIP software and workflow automation toolsExcellent attention to detail and time management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with CTP systems and plate outputKnowledge of G7 or other color calibration standardsFamiliarity with variable data printing (VDP)Experience working in a commercial print shop environmentOur employee benefits include - Vacation, Profit Sharing, Matching 401k, Medical Insurance Premium Discounts, Vision, Dental, Life and Disability insurances.
